Hi Everyone! Below are some new pics of my 150 Montauk. Included are pics of the flush mounting of a Garmins 545s GPS/Sonar unit. This install required moving the throttle appx 2" to the starboard side of the console. Also, some new pics of the name & graphics. Pics of boat, name & graphics: http://i305.photobucket.com/albums/nn219/CLK_305/Moby1.jpg Pics of a flush mounted Garmin 545s: http://i305.photobucket.com/albums/nn219/CLK_305/Moby2.jpg Cheers! |

Some day your boat will be considered a "classic". Looks good. Now how about some real world performance numbers. Oh, take the stickers off the cooler. |

Just a thought. Boat registration and assigned numbers are a matter of public record, should you desire to further keep your profile private you may want to consider disguising those numbers. |

CLK Thanks, I would not mind either, you just need to sort out all that rain you get now. BTW see you have the sat tv installed now from the 305 I just named/registered my boat. I don’t think you will find any reference in your rare/classic books for this one :) http://img403.imageshack.us/img403/5841/mafimushkilaboatnb9.jpg Regards |

Hey Steve, >>>I just named/registered my boat. I don’t think you will find any reference in your rare/classic books for this one :) Nope - but it looks really sharp. The colors are great - the engine, boat & graphics. Add the 363 days of sunshine a year - And it all seems pretty exotic to me! Cheers! |

Hi fishgutz >>>Some day your boat will be considered a "classic". Looks good. Thanks fishgutz! I like that the Montauks still maintain the 'classic' look, of Whalers gone past. >>>Oh, take the stickers off the cooler. Opps - Nothing classy about that! Moby's got his fly down. ;-) Cheers! |

Very sweet. The 150s, 170s & now the 190s say "Whaler" immediately, unlike many of the other nicely made post-classic BWs, which only say "nicely made motorboat," at least to me ;-) Tony |

CLK/Hans Thanks, Yes literal translation of Arab-English is “No Problem”. Mafi Mushkila is a very popular saying here. Had to get special permission for the name (once they stopped laughing). They tend to use more serious/exotic names. Could be a problem during a mayday call though :) Sky line is Abu Dhabi, note anchor line is slack as the Mrs was attached to it via sunbed (so no chance of boat drifting off) but under orders of a sound slapping, I omitted her. Cooling down now to low 40'sC so fish may start to come back in. Rain forecasted in late December maybe a couple of showers hopefully in the working week so I’ll miss them. Sorry CLK. Regards |
