Many thanks in advance for your suggestions.

Shipping to Oslo from the US may be a problem. Certainly it will be expensive due to the dimensions of the cooler and cushion. Do you not have a local Boston Whaler dealer who can take care of what you need?
Any Boston Whaler dealer should be able to send you what you want. MarineMax have dealerships around the United States. If you go to the web site you can locate one of their dealerships in the northeast part of the US. You can then contact the dealership and make your arrangements with them.

The optional cooler in the 2007 Outrage 190 is nothing but an Igloo brand 54 quart cooler with a cushion on top.
I am sure the cooler itself will be the easier part to find in Norway.
If you are set on having an original equipment cushion, a local Whaler dealer would be the best choice. Otherwise have a cushion made by Halls Nautical:

It's not a problem to have a dealer get it for you
The problem is BW usually only ship via normal couriers (DHL/FEDEX etc)
So a $20-30 cooler will cost an addition $200+ in courier fee's plus BW mark-up
You can try and use a shipping agent but these normally will only deliver to a company address.
I've asked the dealer to ship some other small items when they have been ordering another boat, but BW advises that US law forbids adding additional items to the manifest if not part of the boat being shipped.
I got my spare cooler in UAE from a local french supermarket Carrefour you may have them in Norway ? and just get the cover seperatly.
Best of luck as I can't find a cheep way to ship an auxilary 9.9 or an electronics box for my t-top

I have the same boat and have a 100 qt. cooler instead of the standard 54 qt cooler. I would advise this if you want to sit 2 people comfortably in front of the console.

Perry, how do you secure that cooler as the 54 quart fits against the curved bracket on the console. I`m assuming you also had a larger cushion made.Did you remove the rod holders there?
I`m always looking for ideas to add seating to the Nantucket.
Do you have a picture of this set-up? Thanks, Ken

I have aa 100 quart cooler as well. Just fold down the original cooler holder and put the 100 quart cooler in place. Get 2 shock/bungee cords and make a loop. Pull thru the handles and then round the rod rack tube at the bottom. You don't need loads of tension, just enough to snug it up. The weight of the cooler and it's contents will keep it in place. Sorry I can't get you a picture, I just put the boat cover on as I am away for a trip over the next 2 weeks.

Another option. Whatever size cooler you pick, Igloo makes a cushion for all of them. They do not match the upholstery in a Whaler, but the plain white color doesn't look bad against the ribbed vinyl.

I have the original cooler and pillow, but have moved them to the stern of Das Boat and added a forward lounge to the existing bow area and pillow. I removed the rod holders as I never used those much but have plenty of others either original or added. The issue of extra seating has no become extra seating and I can lay down my 6 foot frame extended fully for two if I like...and I like:)Give me a seat in the stern as well, and more storage under the lounge. Very comfortable extra I added. I posted pics in another thread. Mine is the one BW makes, easy to install. But I guess you could make one out of starboard and but the pillow to save some money.
If you dont use a forward lounge, you can enlarge seating with a larger cooler and pillow, they are made in sets in any boaters world store.
Also, I saw recently and sent a pic to Ken, a jump seat that was made for BW that attaches to the gunwales of your boat, fold up and down type. Not sure that is a good option but its an option.
Butt he forward lounge adds loads of seating and laying down comfort to a boat witha dodger on top...the best!:)

Kencvit, my boat didn't come with the fishing package, so no rod holders in front of the console and no 54 qt. cooler either. I bought cooler cleats ( "L" shaped brackets) at West Marine and secured 2 of them (in front) to the hull. The cooler is very secure with no bungee even when empty.

Was in our local Walmart this morning.
They had an Igloo Marine 48 Qt. cooler for $24.88.
And a Igloo Polar 120 qt. for $52.00.

We have the stock cooler that was part of the fishing package. It works just fine. We often carry a second larger cooler behind the bait well. Of course, putting a cooler back there uses up valuable floor space.
We do use the forward rod holders, the curved base plate holds the cooler securely. We have a large plastic container that snugs into the space between the cooler and the anchor locker. It will carry two sets of dive gear and contains it all securely even in rough conditions.
When we got the boat I did not think we would use the bait well much, it get's used a bunch and also makes a good auxiliary storage area when not in use.
Best money ever spent on the boat, Lenco tabs, huge difference and a Rev 4 prop.
