For those who have two batteries in your Montauk, where is your battery switch? I mounted a simple Perko on/off switch in mine in the factory location in teh console and am planning to add another battery, however, I'm thinking that this might block access to the battery switch. It would be great to be able to access the switch without openine the console, but I'd really like the switch knob to be covered. Anyone cutout an area for a swicth and added one in the console? SSI plastic makes several excellent boxes for this found here: http://www.ssicustomplastics.com/switches.htm (I like no. 47731600 ) I understand they only sell to manufacturers. Any suggestions? |

Mine is inside the console, but on that angled piece of starboard that forms the kickspace (same surface the breakers are mounted on). If you mount it as far to port as you can, you can easily reach it through the console door without even opening it all the way. That front mount does look neat, though. |

Swist--is yours a factory installation? Or is it closer to the access door? |
