Which type of anti-fouling paint is best for the Lenco Tabs? I would imagine some type of scuffing/sanding and priming is required before painting. Any recommendations appreciated. Thanks |

I paint mine with ablative paint, but it does not last that long. The correct way to do it is use an epoxy primer, then paint over with your antifowling paint. Paulie |

Thanks. At one time you could purchase a spray primer and paint kit. It came in two cans. I don't know if it is available anymore. I didn't paint the tabs last season and they developed a load of marine growth. |

I would try a clear anti-fouling spray paint made for metal outdrives. http://floridasportfishing.com/magazine/product-reviews/press-releases/ interlux-introduces-clear-antifouling-paint-for-outdrives.html |

That's just what I'm looking for but I don't see any mention about using on bare Stainless Steel trim tabs. I was wathcing ShipShape TV not long ago and the rep from Bennet Tabs mentions its ok to paint the tabs but did not get into specifics on how to do so. |
