I have always found the cutting board, rod holder unit that came with the fishing pckage on my Outrage 210 of little use. now that my kids are older, we are doing a lot of tubing, wakeboarding, and the ski pylon would be a great accessory. is it possible to install the ski pylon myself, or does anyone know of a successful aftermarket solution?

Yes this is really easy I did it last year I think the kit I got was Skieasy or Easyski but will check for you.

The ski pole will slot straight into the existing table support perfectly, allowing you to re-use the locking pin and giving extra support.

All I had to do was cut ski pole down by 6 inches to fit in the table support, drill a horizontal hole for the lock pin and then fix the 2 rear supports ( 4 bolts each) on to the top of the splash well wall all supplied in the kit.

You can then adjust the lengths of the rear telescopic arms and drill and fit retaining pins for a very ridged fit.

Takes about 1-2 hours to do it yourself once you have shortened the pole.

It's very easy to remove and refit the table etc at any time, just leaving the 2 rear pads inplace.

Found it:

Swivel-Eze Deck Master Pylon

Note most poles don't recomend pulling tubes

FYI I bought this around 250USD as the BW one is over 600USD plus shipping to here in UAE adds another 200

The fit is very neat once you chop the centre pole leg down a fit it into your table support (thus giving you one spare support pad) and the 2 rear pads are not as sharp as the single S/S eyes on the BW version.

Your welcome

If you look closely on each side of the engine on the top of the splashwell you can just see the black support pads in the same location as the BW factory fitted ones
