Hello there. I am thinking about a buying 150 Montauk with fishing package. Is there room in the boat or console to store two trolling motor batteries? If there is no room in the console, can they be placed somewhere out of the way in the boat?

I happen to like transom mount trolling motors, is this kind of motor mount an option for this boat? from birdsall marine ?

for anyone who cares to know.
I took a look at a 150 montauk at the dealer today, to see for myself, and those extra batteries will fit...

if there is anyone with experience with the motor bracket from birdsall, I would like to know what you think !!
