Hello from Oregon, I am planning on installing a livewell on my 1997 21 foot outrage for tuna fishing off the oregon coast. Can anyone recomend where on the boat I should consider installing one? Fish box? Front Hatch? Something External?
I don't know if a livewell was ever a factory option on this model, but it is high on my to do list. This will be my first year targetting Tuna. Thanks for your time and any input.

That boat had an option of a super leaning post with a livewell. The livewell was huge. The super leaning post also had rod holders and other storage features. I would try to find a factory super leaning post.

Thank You, I will try to locate one.
If anyone knows of one for sale I would be very grateful for some info.

I would look at the various models for the 21ft Outrage at whalerparts as I suspect even the last 2008 version would probably fit.

But I expect an OEM BW delux leaning post to be around 3K minimum to buy

Regards
Steve

Ouch. In that case, has anyone ever seen one mounted where the oem cooler sits (in front of the center console)? Thanks
