I know it's been discussed here before but I haven't had any luck with the information I've found. Seabrite out of Florida is out of business. The guy at CMI Marine in Massachusetts said that he has the patterns/measurements for most of the older Whalers but not the Dauntless. Apparently, when Seabrite went out of business, they took the plans/measurements with them. He even said Whaler tried to convince them (Seabrite) to give him the drawings, but they just disappeared. CMI said they could make me a bow rail if I had the measurements and angles of an existing bow rail. Any ideas where I could find this information? No one in my area has a 18' Dauntless from that era, so I can't get them myself. There must be a published drawing somewhere showing what I need.

Your best bet would be to call Chuck Bennett at Boston Whaler. You can find the customer service email on the Whaler site or you can use the toll free number on the website. Best of luck with your project,
