[Where is] the fuse or breaker for the [bilge] pump on a 2005 Boston Whaler 170 MONTAUK? There is no breaker on the dashboard beneath the switch, and I have not found an in-line fuse in the system. I would assume that there is one under the console, however, after looking three times and getting farther into it each time, I have not seen anything that looks familiar. Thanks.

[The circuit breaker on a Boston Whaler 170 MONTAUK for the bilge pump] is part of the main power distribution box mounted in the console. Follow the smaller positive line from the battery. It will lead you directly to the little black box. Unscrew the cover and you will find the breaker.

The schematic diagram (linked above) is a bit hard to interpret. If the 170 MONTAUK has the battery switch option, the branch circuit that feeds the bilge pump is wired directly to the battery. A separate circuit breaker protects the bilge pump circuit.

The feed from the main circuit breaker to the dashboard electrical panel appears to be omitted in that drawing. There should be a conductor from the main breaker to the distribution panel that provides battery positive to all the fuses in the distribution panel.
