We currently own a 1998 Dauntless 18 (180?) and are looking to move up to a larger, newer model; possibly a DAUNTLESS 220 or 230.Many of the used boats I've seen for sale are not rigged for a bow mounted trolling motor. I contacted Boston Whaler some time back and they indicated that the rigging tunnels (for the wiring) are cast into each boat. Would it be as simple as adding the receptacle, wiring, and batteries to wire a trolling motor? I realize there are other obstacles to mounting a bow mounted trolling motor with bow rails in the way (et al) but am specifically wondering about the electrical installation.

I quickly looked at the 2006 dauntless 220 and access to the Pre installed rigging tunnel looks good from inside the console and where you would mount the batteries
