I have a 1995 Outrage 21. I called to order the folding transom gate (original owner had removed it).

I was told that the mold had been destroyed and it was no longer available. I said, "but this hull is still made and sold as a 21 Justice."

They told me I could order an unknown size and unkown look non-gated folding starboard transom piece.

I don't want that. I have seen the double-folding gate previously and would love to have that.

If anyone is nice enough to (1) make their boat or gate available to me if they live near Charleston SC or (2) take pics and also send me the various dimensions, I would be VERY appreciative.

Don't know what you mean by "double-folding" gate, but my 1996 model has a fold down gate in front of the splash well. I can have measurements and pictures by next weekend.

The only transom gates the 21 & 24 OR's had were made of starboard and only folded one way because of the gate jams that were installed on each side....

The whaler parts diagram for the 1998 model shows the single fold down with latches etc

Thanks drafstman, but no, they were not made of starboard.

They are now. And they no longer fold. Whaler destroyed the mold.

They were single folding, not double, but they were made of fiberglass.

There might have been a CPD version, but as far as the REC side went, having drawn every part, fabrication, assembly, and installation for that boat, I can tell you there was no fiberglass transom gate option offered, nor is there a BOM or P/N for such a creature, and lord knows it had a lot of options.... I even re-checked the bills, as I happen to have a copy, in case I was starting to lose what remains in my mind from those days, but no, there's nothing there.... The only model that I recall having a glass "gate" is the 27 Offshore, and it only folded down... Have any pics of this part? Am now very curious...
