Langella7	posted 11-03-2011 11:29 AM ET (US)             Will do, Tom. I think I am going to go with a [unclear, possibly means Minn Kota] 45-lbs thrust [trolling motor]. This [trolling motor] should be good for the 13-footer and upgrade 15-foot or 17-foot boat in the future. Kit with pedal starts under [US-$400] and under [US-$300] for hand control. As I don't have a pedestal seat I might get hand control. Using a pedal while standing might be awkward. [I am] not sure [which length] shaft to get.
