I'd love to know from any Outrage 250 owners, if it is possible to add a vacu-flush toilet if the boat was ordered only with the portable head. I believe that the portable head has a pump out, so I would like to assume that the conversion wouldn't appear to be a big deal. I'm just about to be in the market for a used Outrage 250, but the lack of a vacu-flush toilet would be a deal breaker for me.

Erik,

Given the lack of responses specific to the Outrage 250 perhaps your question could be best answered by your local Boston Whaler dealer.

Generally, if there is space for a porta-potty a vaci-flush will fit. The real question is where to put the ancillaries and plumbing although the pump out fitting would probably serve for either waste handling system if properly connected.

If you want the capability to use the system offshore with a "Y" valve to bypass the holding tank that will complicate the installation and require some extra space. If you want the capability that should be made clear to whomever you consult on your question.

Thx for your input Butch. I have subsequently found out that the porta pottie version does have a pump out, so I would assume that the conversion is possible without too much additional plumbing required.
