Noyac40	posted 09-13-2013 03:47 PM ET (US)         I [plan] to re-power my 1993 Outrage 19, which has a bad engine. I hope to find a good used 150 E-TEC to avoid re-rigging the entire boat. I am seeing a fair amount of 20-inch-shaft motors. Will [a 20-inch shaft] work? Or, is a 25-inch leg needed? Any help appreciated.
Buckda	posted 09-13-2013 04:42 PM ET (US)             You definitely want a 25-inch-shaft engine. You will be unhappy with a 20-inch shaft or a 30-inch shaft.
