Re: GUARDIAN 18 Center Deck Repair
Why is the writing on the label backwards? Are you sure the "orange foam" is not something else, some sort of mastic or adhesive? The writing is backwards because the foam was sprayed directly onto the sticker, you are seeing a transfer of the print on the foam. I have no idea what the or...

Re: GUARDIAN 18 Center Deck Repair
The pressure washer works, a little bit. I got the label off the tank. The tank was replaced with a smaller one in 2001, about 40-gallons, and it is correspondingly shorter, about two-thirds of the 63-gallon. In that forward space there are two kinds of foam. The top is basically the consistency of ...

The deck is not terrible but bad enough around the edges that we're going to replace it. It also was not completely sealed around the edge...

Re: Hello y'all
Wow, it's neat to think that these two were stablemates at some point!! I sure hope I can get mine to look as good as yours, I would never have guessed yours to be a military boat! It looks like a cream puff that sat in a time capsule! Mine is a hard drinking lady that has been in a few fights :D. A...

Hi Mav, I'm in nw Florida (ft Walton) the boat came from the navy base at Panama City. I'll get a couple of pictures downsized tonight to put up, but she is a sad, dirty sight right now..... I am in the process of pulling the console, but cannot find the release pin for the steering cable, and haven...

Hello y'all
After months of searching, I finally bought my first boat a few weeks ago. While not nearly as beautiful as all of yalls here, she is a whaler, seems solid, and I cannot wait to get her out on the water! She is an 89 18ft guardian with an evinrude cross flow 100, auctioned out of us navy service, bu...
