You are on the right track.

I use either Marine Tex or Gorilla Glue. If you use the glue, mask off the holes since it expands. Trim off the overfilled once it sets.

The Tohatsu brand has a good reputation but it is not a high volume seller in the US. I recall there could be a relationship to Nissan outboards.

The typical flap style scupper wears out and does not properly hold a seal.

Two solutions - short term and long.

Short term - remove the flap, rotate and reinstall.

Long term - replace with ping pong style.

I have never seen a twin lever Morse control used for an outboard, only twins or a single inboard.

Are you sure you don't want change it out for a single lever Morse control?

This is a Danforth style anchor. (I had to look it up)

Many members do a slight modification and shorten the thin rods to allow the anchor to fit. Credit for this mod goes to Chuck Triblet,
Lining the anchor locker with Dri-Dek squares protects the locker gelcoat.

I enclosed all the wires in bilge tubing and wireloom to protect it from objects getting thrown in the door (by others). Battery is in a floor cutout out of view.

This is also known as keel rash. Pretty common. I had it on my 1987 Montauk.

Use Marine tex. To get a generally smooth finish, use wide packing tape to cover and smooth it out.

Personally, I would not go below a 115 hp motor.

A 90, propped perfectly, with a 4 person load and gear will be a dog to plane and pokey climbing up a swell.

My boat, a 1987, had no sealant. Just screws and a few bolts. Sealant is not necessary.

While Deks Olje is a great product, consider straight teak oil going forward.
