Re: WTB: Boston Whaler Outrage 22 1989-1992
I saw one fs somewhere like in wisconsin some weeks ago.It was at a dealer or consignment lot. Adv as one owner fresh water boat. It peaked my interest! The pics werent super hi res but looked real clean. Kind of what a guy needs to find - one from that area that isnt sunbaked and salted out. Cant h...

Re: 210 Guardian: Wiring path for Downriggers
I dont know if you have ever fished with riggers much but mounting them that far forward could result in some propellor encounters with cable or line - unless you are very careful. This is why you always see them mounted close to the stern. I have had a few guardians and as neat as they are - fishin...

GUARDIAN 22
I have opportunity to buy [a boat the seller describes as a 1989 JUSTICE 21 but which we later find out is not]. I can[']t find any specs on the 21 Justice. I am assuming that it is just a 21 sport-version-outrage rigged with a diff[erent] console, [T]-top and railings. It used to be a police boat. ...

Re: Concern Over Low Engine Hours
I have had some experience with low hours old engines but just with 2 strokes. Main concern was blown head gaskets. I also had one blown base gasket. But there is no way to really tell condition. Older couple put putting around a few weekends a year probably didnt even break in the engine well. You ...

Re: OUTRAGE 25 CUDDY Sterndrive
Thanks for the inputs! I have to follow my gut and needed someone to help break my fever...in the late 80's there were no 'great' outboards made that didnt suck fuel and sound like jet engines. And their engine longevity was on the low end of the scale. SO if an inboard at that time had been such a ...

OUTRAGE 25 CUDDY Sterndrive
I have a really bad case of Whaler-itis right now. I have had eight classics over the years from 13 to 25-feet. There is a 1986 Outrage 25 Cuddy with a Volvo-Penta DuoProp 330-HP sterndrive for sale locally in good condition. The price is manageable at [$15,000], and I could use that hull for a ruff...
