Re: New 210 Montauk Order
Another data point: I purchased a new custom-ordered Montauk 170 in Spring 2022. The order was placed in September 2021. I took delivery in New York in May 2022. The deposit was ten-percent of the base price before options. There was no price negotiating--MSRP or nothing. But there was no mark-up ei...

Re: Engine Safety Shut Off with Wireless Sensors
I have installed the MOB+ wireless engine safety shut off switch system from Fell Marine on my boat, and I recommend it. The Fell Marine wireless safety engine shut off system works. We use it 100-percent of the time the boat is in operation. It was easy to install. We will not have to deal with a t...

Re: FS: 170 Montauk Side Railings $600 in New York
These are still for sale. I might have over valued them originally (based on dealer parts department advice). Make a reasonable offer. I'm tired of looking at them. You will probably need to pick them up in Ossining NY (Westchester county, just north of the Tapan Zee.)

Re: Federal Regulations for Engine Shut Off Switch Use
The law (available easily for free) references a kill switch meeting ABYC standards. You need to pay $50 to get the ABYC standard.

Re: APPRAISAL: 1987 13-footer
In April 2022 I sold an absolutely perfect 2010 150 Super Sport with 60-HP and trailer for $20,000. A 1987 13-footer is not worth even half as much. Even assuming the 1987 13-footer is in perfect condition:
- 35-years-old vs 12-years-old
- 13 vs 15-feet
- 25 vs 60-HP
