Re: Generic Trailerable Cover for Katama 16
Yeah, I had looked at those, the only problem is the price. Since I don't need a perfect fitting cover, I am hoping to not have to pay custom prices.

Re: Generic Trailerable Cover for Katama 16
Hi Folks, and thanks for all the advice. So I'm almost convinced now that I don't need to trailer it covered, and I definitely don't want to pay for a cover that is heavy duty enough for that. And since I keep the boat under a permanent roof, I don't need to worry about it shedding water properly. I...

Re: Generic Trailerable Cover for Katama 16
I totally understand that [keeping the cover on the boat when towing at high speeds] will put the hurt on the cover when driving, however, we live on a gravel road; if we drive anywhere we have to rinse the boat once we get there. Q2: do any of the generic covers fit? Most of them show the cover on ...

Generic Trailerable Cover for Katama 16
I have a 1969 Katama that my brothers and I just refurbished in Summer 2020. I'm looking for a good cover, but don't really want to pay for an expensive custom fit cover. Q1: what generic boat covers work well a KATAMA 16? I keep my KATAMA 16 boat under a car port, so I am not really worried about k...

Re: KATAMA Deck Delamination
Update on the delaminated deck repair The location of the delaminated areas of the deck was found to not be over the embedded wood areas of the deck. Gorilla glue was used in stead of epoxy. Gorilla glue expands as it cures and is urethane-based. I believe the foam in Boston Whaler boats is also ur...

KATAMA Deck Delamination
Q1: how can delamination of the deck in a 1969 KATAMA be repaired? Q2: could small holes be drilled in the deck in the delaminated areas and then a syringe used to inject a resin under the deck and then weights placed atop the area in order to re-adhere the separated areas? BACKSTORY A few spots on ...
