Image File Formats

The website supports uploads of image files in the following image file formats:
.gif
.jpg or .jpeg
.png
The website does not support uploading of image files in the .tif or .tiff format.
The ability of web browsers to natively display image files in .tif is very limited compared to almost universal support for the three permitted image file formats. Compare at

Files in .tif have many variations in parameters such as compression, byte order, and layers, which also create problems in viewing them.
