U. S. Military Conducting GPS Jamming Test

On January 16, 17, 18, 23, and 24, 2020 the U. S. Navy will be conducting tests of GPS jamming and warns that reception and use of GPS signals for navigation may be unreliable or unavailable over a large area of the Atlantic off the coast of Florida and inland hundreds of miles in the southeast U.S. Details are given at

The radius of the affected area varies with altitude, so users on the ground or at sea level are less affected than aircraft flying at 10,000 feet or higher.
