FOR OWNERS OF A 13-FOOTER FROM c.1970 WHO HAVE INSTALLED AN AUXILIARY ENGINE:
Q1: What horsepower main engine were are you using?
Q2: What horsepower auxiliary engine are you using?
Q3: What is the maximum engine size that can be used without harm?

Re: 13-Footer Owners With Auxiliary Engines
A1: 30.
A2: I have a British Seagull 2-HP engine that I plan to restore and perhaps take along on my 13-footer.
A3: For main engines I have seen a classic Evinrude 70-HP three-cylinder two-stroke-powr-cycle engine on a SPORT [13] with remote controls. I wouldn't [use a 70-HP engine on a SPORT 13].
I have a Evinrude E-TEC 30-HP on my Standard 13 with tiller steering. The E-TEC 30 is the engine I ever want on a 13-footer.
