Q1: where can a replacement bow eye for a 1994 OUTRAGE 19 be purchased?
The original bow eye uses a 5/8-inch-diameter, threaded, U-shaped steel rod. [The left side as seen in Figure 1 (below) broke and is shorter than the longer right side, which measures] 12-inches [from] the front of the eye.
ASIDE
I attempted to weld the original rod (at the break), but my novice welding skills didn't yield a satisfactorily strong result.
PLAN B
If [a suitable replacement is not available], I may seek out a professional welder [to re-weld the original bow eye].
