Was out cruising the bay yesterday and ran into a sailboat regatta. There had to be twenty or more Whalers on the water. Mostly 70'to 90's models, all re-powered.

Nice. The Dauntless models have a lot to offer. I REALLY liked my 16 and regret selling it.

My 1999 Dauntless 18 has its quirks but the layout is perfect for our family of four. I sometimes think about going to a 190 Montauk or Nantucket but I'm gonna stick with this boat unless a real deal comes along.

Interestingly, I was at the Regatta this past weekend. It was the GYA Junior Lipton Regatta. I was out on my 1985 18 Outrage.

Cool. It was quite enjoyable to watch.
