2003 240 Outrage Gulf Coast Edition

Hi all. Just saw [a 2003 Boston Whaler 240 OUTRAGE GULF COAST EDITION] boat, but I can't locate any details or information. What is different from the standard 240 Outrage model? [What is the] maximum horsepower?

Gulf Coast Boats were taken from a mold popped from a Boston Whaler. They are nice boats, made in Houston, but they are not Whalers, nor do they make an Outrage model--if that's what you are looking at.

CC25, Are you sure it was a 240 Outrage? Whaler does not offer a new 240 Outrage. Was it new or used?
It sounds like a dealer created option. Likely a special graphics and option package. They would not be able it increase the maximum horsepower rating.
Was it at a MarineMax Dealership?

Thanks for the replies. It's definitely a 240 Outrage, 2003. It has a decal that looks like a factory decal that says "Gulf Coast Edition" under the Whaler logo. What is the maximum horsepower on these hulls?

I have seen the designator "Gulf Coast Edition" on a Boston Whaler boat. I think it was some sort of equipment package or bundle of options.

My 1992 23 Walkaround is a Gulf Coast Edition. I have no idea why it has that distinction.
