Greetings, I have just purchased a 2006 150 Sport that has a vinyl mooring cover. I don't know if the cover was custom-made or was a factory-option for this model in 2006. I was hoping to get an image [that shows a cover] secured to the boat so I can see how the cover was intended to be an effective tool for mooring in-water or on the trailer. I can't seem to make [the cover] work for me at this point.

I'm not quite able to visualize your cover. A photograph would be helpful or the cover manufacturers name from a label.

Do you plan to store your Sport on a trailer or a mooring?

The OEM canvas supplier for Boston Whaler from 1997 through 2006 was Great Lakes Boat Top.

If it is vinyl it is a custom after market type cover as OEM covers are canvas and made by Great Lakes as stated before. You have the boat and cover so you should know what it looks like.
A vinyl cover is not a standard OEM option.
