NMMA Used Boat Data

The NMMA (National Marine Manufacturer Association) announced that in 2017 988,200 used boats were sold for a total of $9,300,000,000. That is an average used boat sales price of $9,411. Boats power by outboard, sterndrive, inboard, or jet accounted for 83.8 percent of that total (by unit volume), and 61-percent of the total used boats (by unit volume) were powered by outboard engines.
