Using Front-mounted Hitch

I use an old Jeep Cherokee XJ as a tow vehicle.
In 2021 I installed a front-mounted hitch.
This was the easiest launching I have ever experienced.
You have total control and can see everything right in front of you.
At night, your headlights light up the operation.
I use four-wheel-drive. If you only have two-wheel- drive the rear-drive wheels are away from the slimy part of the ramp.
I should have done this decades ago.

Driving down the highway in Reverse with the boat towed by a hitch mounted on the front of the car must be quite an experience.
How do you drive at night without headlights illuminating the road ahead?

You also get a better view of a 16’ Whaler starting to roll off an E-Z-Loader roller trailer when going up a slight hill and the winch not hooked up.

"Driving down the highway in Reverse" - I wonder if that is why the cop followed me for several miles going home.I guess I did all right because he never pulled me over.

I found another great reason to use [a front-mounted trailer hitch]. I pushed my Whaler right into my narrow driveway on the first try. I live on a very busy street and you have to wait for a break and GO. The front-mounted hitch made it super easy. I should have done this ages ago.

I put [a front-mounted trailer hitch] on my 3/4-ton pickup with slide-in camper. Now to launch and retrieve a boat is much easier.
