[Give me a recommendation for a vendor to provide a Mooring Cover for a] 1988 [SUPER SPORT 13] with no bow rails.

Note: I will not be trailering the boat with [the Mooring Cover in place. The Mooring Cover will be used only when the boat is] sitting in the boat yard.

ASIDE: I have found that only [Wm. J. Mills & Co. make Mooring Covers for a 1988 SUPER SPORT 13], and [the mooring covers made by Wm. J. Mills & Co.] are expensive.

I doubt there are too many other sources for an off-the-shelf mooring cover for a boat made 33-years-ago. If you just need a cover for the boat while it is sitting on a trailer on land, you could use a generic boat cover for a 13-footer.

We purchased a boat cover for our 1981 Sport 13 without a bow rail from Carver Covers. It fits very well and we tow with the cover installed. It is a red cover made of Sunbrella fabric. We have been entirely satisfied with our cover. If you purchase a Carve cover I recommend you also purchase a support pole and cover vent to elevate it for rain runoff. I also recommend purchase of the optional extra tie down strap kit.

There are mooring covers and there are covers for towing.

Some mooring covers can be used while towing. Some can't.

Review all the specifications of the covers you're considering to avoid a costly mistake.
