Using a JETDOCK to Moor 190 MONTAUK

Postby TripleOcho » Tue Jul 12, 2022 8:43 pm

READERS: if you have used a Jetdock for mooring a 19-foot Boston Whaler boat, give me your assessment of how the Jetdock worked.

BACKSTORY
The water level at my dock gets too low at low tide to moor my 190 Montauk. I'm hoping a Jetdock would be a good solution and allow use of the dock regardless of the tide level. Obviously, there would be times when the boat and dock would be dry, but at least it wouldn't be sitting in the mud.

The concern I would have is how the dock/boat would behave when launching or retrieving when the water level is between high and low tides.

Have you considered a boat lift? A lift would obviously be far more expensive but the convenience would be far greater.
