Not sure why you want a Whaler Drove other than to be OEM. I have a Whaler Drive on a 1993 23 Walkaround. The Whaler Drive could use [more] buoyancy, especially when using four-stroke-power-cycle engines.

The Whaler Drive on a 23 Walkaround boat differs from the classic Whaler Drive used on the classic Outrage hulls in 20, 22, and 25-foot lengths. Generally the classic Whaler Drive has a larger buoyancy box and handles twin engines okay.
Of course, today’s engines have increased in weight since the 1990’s when the Whaler Drive was designed for V6 engines of around 400-lbs.
