I may buy a 1985 Super Sport. I want to make sure it's not waterlogged.

Q1: Other than weighing this boat is there any other way to measure how dry or wet the core may be?

• screw holes
• rust stains from transom eyes
• weeping from drain tubes and engine bolts.

Regardless of the bottom paint, can you tell where the grime line is on the transom and the aft quarters.

This is a highly sought after model. As long as the engine is not a brick, the pricing is reasonable.
