Readers who have bought an E-TEC engine from McgrewShop in Portland, Oregon: tell your experience in dealing with them.

Other than from their website, I cannot find information on McGrew Shop.

BACKSTORY: McGrew Shop says they bought a lot of [E-TEC outboard engines] from [BRP] when [BRP] stopped making E-TEC engines. McGrew Shop says the have lots of new old-stock engines. I want to buy an Evinrude E-TEC 150 H.O. McGrew Shop says they have one.

I also found an outboard on the McGrew site. I am now suspicious as their contact info list conflicting information with addresses in both Sacramento and Portland. They have a logo on their site for McGraw Commercial Properties, not McGrew. Aslo as you may have seen a LLC form which lacks any specifics including names.
Did you contact them by phone? I have only used their online chat.
Have you found any other information?
I am going to ask my crdit card company to investigate and will pass on what I find if you are intereted.
