Q1:[To] anyone [who has any model of] older 13-foot Boston Whaler boat: how do they ride at [maximum] capacity?

[In my case during] 95% of the time [there] would [only] be one or two adults on board.

Q2: [would operating a classic 13-footer] still be safe with four [adults on board]?

[There would be] obviously no room to move. [The passenger weight] would be under the weight limit, [but the weight limit] seems like a very generous limit.

Q3: have there been differences over the years in the hull [of the 13-footers]?

Q4: is the hull of a 2000 130 SPORT the same as the hull of a 1960 13-footer?

[Give me information about] the ride characteristics of different 13-foot models.

I know the DAUNTLESS [13] was heavier, and I am guessing the DAUNTLESS 13 probably has a smoother ride [than some other unspecified 13-foot models].

ASIDE
I plan to buy a small Boston Whaler boat to use inshore for sandbar hopping and light [tackle angling] on lakes.

I have been looking for answers to these questions but did not find them.

Like ANY small boat, and particularly for any small boat whose hull weight was generally light, ANY added weight being carried on the boat in the form of passengers, engine, and gear will have a very large effect on the hull performance and characteristics. If you start with a small boat that only weighs 250-lbs (like an early production 13-footer) and you add four adults that weigh 200-lbs each for a total of 800-lbs, there will be a very marked change in how the boat handles and accelerates. This is nothing unique to a Boston Whaler classic 13-footer. Actually, in contrast to most other 13-foot hulls, the Boston Whaler 13-foot hull is remarkable for its ability to carry significant weight and remain stable.

Also read all the linked follow-up pages in that section, which describe different models, give links to detailed hull reinforcement drawings, and link to owner testimonials. To find sections that discuss a new hull design, search the page for "new hull design". The most significant hull change occurred in c. 1971.

Once the hull model identifiers switched to using three-digits (“130”) the hull was no longer the classic 13-foot hull form.

You should take some guidance from the fact that the 13-foot classic hull was made for about 40 years. This should tell you about its characteristic stability and carrying capacity. Even c.1960 hulls, which today are 65-years old, are still in use, and these old boats are still be refurbished and restored.
