Q1: in what model year of the MONTAUK 17 were through-hull drains switched from the traditional brass construction to plastic or nylon parts?

Q2: can you identify ANY classic MONTAUK hull in which its original through hull drain was using plastic parts?

My 2000 Montauk 17 through-hull drain fittings are plastic. I am sure they are the OEM original parts
