I have owned this 1990 OUTRAGE 19 for 20 years. The boat is in good condition with no structural problems. The wood in the deck over the fuel tank was removed and replaced with Coosa board approximately five years ago and is better than new. The gel coat retains some shine still, although there are some small crazing cracks in some of the tighter radii as would be expected for a 34-year-old Boston Whaler boat in the south.
The boat was re-wired with all pre-tinned marine wire and newer rocker style switches around the same time as the fuel tank deck repairs were made. The cushions are all in good condition and there is a spare 64-quart cushion included.
Included with the boat are three stainless frame tops, two are by Wm. J. Mills & Co. (and need new canvas) and the third is a Great Lakes top from a later model OUTRAGE 19 in navy. The Mills console and RPS covers are in good condition and should last many more years.
Two anchors are included with the boat. The main anchor has a 150-feet rode. The second anchor is a stern anchor.
There are two AGM batteries in the console.
The engine is a 1997 Johnson 150-HP Ocean Runner. There have never been any major problems with the engine. The VRO mixing pump was replaced with a new one. The VRO tank is in a battery box at the transom splash well. The engine is mounted on a six-inch jack plate.
ASIDE: I’ve had the engine longer than the boat. The engine was mounted on my previous OUTRAGE 18 that was featured in the old forum under many posts.
The trailer is a PERFORMANCE galvanized keel-roller trailer that fits the boat perfectly.
