FS: 1970 SPORT 13 $4,500 in Maryland

For-sale: a 1970 SPORT 13 with 40-HP engine (needs repair) and KARAVAN trailer in Severna Park, Maryland for $4,500.

I have clean titles for the boat and trailer.
This solid hull has stencil number 2A5138, has the notched transom, has a full engine splash well, and does not have a smirk at the bow. A Bimini top and storage cover are included, along with a 5-gallon fuel tank, navigation lamps, and an automatic sump pump.
The woodwork was varnished in 2024. There are new custom mahogany seat risers. The helm station is as from the factory. The bench seats are made from Ipe wood.
The 1980 Yamaha-built Mariner-branded 40-HP engine is a two-stroke-power-cycle, electric start model 40E, Code 676BL, serial 410127, but there is a crack in the lower unit, so the engine is being sold as-is. The remote throttle and shift cables are new from 2024.
The 2005 KARAVAN trailer has been inspected, has Maryland registration and license tag, and is road-ready. Recently new bearings and a light kit were installed.
[Other than the engine] everything else is ready to go or ready for upgrade as desired. The 13-footer is a great platform for a simple crabbing, fishing, or restoration.
