Anybody selling one or know of one for sale. I live on the East Coast, CT to be exact. Also looking for used cushions. The 1984 I bought came without the captains seat and cushions.

Given how rare they are on the used market consider using the RPS from any classic Montauk or Outrage. The only difference is the Newport RPS had a fully cushioned back.

It is made up of:

molded glass infused plastic "Z" legs
Upholstered seat base
Stainless steel swing arms
Teak swing arm blocks
Teak seatback (framed cushion on Newport)
Stainless steel handles
Recessed PVC rod holders.

Here is the Montauk RPS. Note the seatback is teak without a cushion.

So a used RPS is rare as a hen tooth? How do specialty marine rps standup?

I personally do not recommend S. M.

There have been too many complaints.

You can replicate the seat.

Perko has the handles.
Lee's makes a 0 degree flush mount rod holder.
Bob Latourelle makes the seat back and the hinge block
Andersons's makes the cushioned seat back.
Ray Martin makes the swing arms and can fab up some legs. Then again I might go for the SM legs. They look close.
