Appraisal: 2017 Montauk 170

Postby Clay » Thu Mar 23, 2023 6:20 pm

[Give me reasonable asking prince for the sale to an individual buyer in August 2023 for] a 2017 170 MONTAUK with 90-HP FOURSTROKE engine, fishing package, hydraulic steering, seat and cockpit covers, full boat cover, and with atrailer in excellent condition with new radials.

I bought this boat new. This 2017 170 MONTAUK has been stored indoors in winters and has never been in saltwater. I have no loan on the boat, and I don’t need to make a killing--just a fair price would do/

[A 2017 170 MONTAUK should sell at a price in the] $30,000 to mid-$30,000 range.

August is not necessarily the best time to sell.

Thanks for the reply and comps, big help. You’re right, August isn’t the best time to sell. If there’s no interest, it will still be available in the Spring, 2024. I’m in no hurry.
