I am having my 1987 Super Sport Limited [unspecified length] repaired and re-gelcoated. I did not want to sand off the original non-skid pattern, so I am planning to paint it with Alwlgrip or Awlcraft 2000.

Q1: does AwlGrip have a color to match the new Spectrum Desert Tan?

Awlgrip's color chart shows a Desert Tan and a Desert Sand, both are close. I have noticed in previous posts that AwlGrip Desert Sand has been used by some.

Your advise is greatly appreciated. I can't reach anyone at Awlgrip for advice.

Just to be clear.

Awlgrip is paint and not gelcoat.

Either color will work.

Note that if you are spraying just the interior, there will be a difference with the outside hull due to the age and oxidation on the hull.
