I am trying to colour-match the gel coat on my 1992 OUTRAGE 17, but in the United Kingdom everything is difficult to get, and I cannot get international postage for the Spectrum patch kit.
Q1: how can I get color-match gel coat repair paste in the United Kingdom?

Perhaps if you contact a Boston Whaler dealer in the USA that has a great parts department, you could arrange for them to send you some color-match gel coat repair paste.
For starters, you might try contacting Sue Lodel via email. For her contact information see

Also possible: make your own polyester resin gel coat by tinting white resin with very small amounts of acrylic paint pigments. To help the resin cure use a top coat of poly-vinyl alcohol. I give a detailed first hand account of how to do this in an article I wrote many years ago. See

Thanks for the reply, much appreciated. I tried the [the suggestions to buy the resin in the USA] and no one would ship internationally. I ended up paying a local guy to colour match a couple of litres by eye, and he’s done an amazing job. The restoration is coming along really well now and I have some spare resin.
