Hi. I'm looking [for a vendor in Connecticut or that area to] replace the windshield of a 1987 Boston Whaler Temptation. I'm in Connecticut and I'd like to keep it local if possible. But I'm willing to trailer the boat 100 to 150 miles if I can find the right place.

I have called around to several companies in the area without much luck.

The starboard curved panel does not properly fit into the rail . If a new panel is made, it will have to be tweaked. This means I'd have to drop off the boat and have [the repair vendor] fit the windshield.

Most companies do not want to do this. Any ideas?

Please list all the vendors you have already contacted in the Connecticut area or in the area you are willing to haul the boat that have indicated they cannot do this work. This will help avoid readers recommending any vendors you have already spoken with who cannot do the work.

If there are no vendors in the Connecticut area, or in the radius you want to haul the boat to, that can perform the windshield repair, you have have to widen the search area.

Fabricating custom shaped and custom bend plexiglass replacement parts is not something that you can find in every part of the U.S.A. I think that in Florida there may be more vendors doing this sort of work than in Connecticut, due to the much greater presence of marine fabricators in Florida.
