I'm considering mounting a Merc 9.9 pro kicker with remote controls on my 2009 220 outrage and have not come up with a decent location for the controls. The motor has a side mount control unit but I cannot find a clean out of the way location on the console to mount it. Ive thought of a top mount control mounted on top of the console but am not sure that's the way to go. Ive also thought about replacing my single verado control unit with a dual control unit but don't know if the 9.9 can work with the smart control system. Any suggestions or thoughts? Pictures of remote controls mounted on 220 outrage center console would be appreciated.
