I'm restoring a 27 FULL CABIN, and I have to repair the rear bulkhead to replace part of the wood core. The 27 FULL CABIN has the full hull-engine bracket mounted with swim platforms. Engines are of, and all bolts--that I know of--are off the engine bracket: all top, bottom, and through bolts that I can see.
Are there any tricks to removing the engine bracket?
It acts like it is still attached to the rear of the hull. Thank you.

Re: Restoring 1988 27FC
I just purchased an 1988 Boston Whaler 27FC, as well. I love the boat, so far. Post some pictures of your restoration. Mine is in excellent shape, and I will be cleaning it up over the winter.
The bracket may be held on with a ton of sealant such as 5200 [adhesive], which does not like to release. You may have to slice the sealant with piano wire and a razor knife before you are able to get the bracket off. Be careful while doing this as pulling off the bracket with the sealant attached may pull the gel coat off the hull in the process
