Having read this post from 2008

titled "classic OUTRAGE 21" I'm looking for advice. Have any of you replaced the hull nuts and bolts without doing so as part of a full take-the-hulls-apart restoration? The comments from jeffs22outrage and jamesmylesmcp have me thinking I should try to source the May 1971 refit kit that is mentioned. I wanted to get rid of the rust stains before compounding and polishing. I'm worried about disturbing the seal between the hull and top. Judging from where my rub rail rests in relation to the waterline and the drawing in the reference section here I don't think I have a wet hull problem, but I don't want to invite future leakage that others point out these models are prone to. My boat is 00140.
