Hi, Hoping someone might SELL their Mill's Canvas Camper piece. I might need side curtains too. Let me know what you might have to sell. Cheers,Joe.

I don't think Mills made a camper canvas set for the REVENGE boats. Perhaps you are asking about the DROP CURTAIN.

Jim is right: looking at the Mills website they don't make what I want. I believe Tom Clark had a picture of a camper canvas and perhaps another owner on this site had one, too. They must be custom made units done by local canvas people.

I found another fine example of the camper canvas I want. Hoping someone has one that isn't used anymore and that they want to sell.

Joe--be more specific. There are many photos [actually there are 131 photos--jimh] in that sail log! I looked through and couldn't figure out what it is that you are after.

I bought camper canvas for my 1986 Revenge 25 W-T a couple of years ago from Kings Marine Canvas Products in Seattle. They did a great job. The website is
http://kingmarinecanvas.com/. If you are in Seattle, I would suggest them for your canvas work. They have done work on my other Whalers as well.

Of the 131 images in my Isle Royale sail log, the one that best shows the camper canvas on Pat's REVENGE 22 W-T boat
HOMEASIDE is perhaps found at
http://continuouswave.com/sail-logs/irnp2010/images/patOvertaking0274.jpg. The image shows the Mills Flying Top, Windshield, and Side Curtain weather canvas set. It also shows an added top extension with its own frame and added side curtains, both made by a local canvas artisan. There is also a drop curtain with large isinglass windows that completes the camper top.

Joe--how good are you at sewing? I wanted camper canvas, but didn't want to pay the local shop $75/hour and lose my boat for a week or two.
So I bought a Sailrite LS-1 sewing machine and made my own in about 72 hours. I ordered all the hardware from Sailrite (bows, zippers, snaps, etc) and got the Sunbrella material from eBay. I had to make my own pattern, commandeer the dining room table, and make MANY trips between the house and boat in the front yard. Everything was my own design; some good, some not so good. Some of my straight line sewing results were good, but my installing zipper skills still need improvement. My wife is fantastic with her sewing machine and was able to point me in the right direction with many ideas.
The results were very satisfying and overnights are much more enjoyable. I was also able to make windshield, side window, and hatch covers. The biggie was the "privacy" curtain that went aft so we could move the portable head out of the v-berth and into the cockpit at night.
I have many more pictures available if you want them.

Here is another shot is Pat's HomeAside without the rear drop curtains. This is a great design and one that makes a Revenege a great pocket cruiser. The front of Pat's set is Mills and the rear was made locally by a custom shop.
