I just bought a 1995 24' Outrage. The previous owner disposed of the fuel tank (damaged and water found in it). Where can I find a replacement tank? Are there different size options? Is there a company that fabricates these specifically for Boston Whalers? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks! -Dan

Note that on some boats made more recently by Boston Whaler, the fuel tank was not fabricated from aluminum plate. The fuel tanks were made from some sort of plastic material and were molded in some manner. For details of those non-aluminum fuel tanks, contact Boston Whaler customer service. If you discover any interesting information about plastic fuel tanks, please share it.

Thanks. I called [Boston Whaler] and they said Florida Marine Tanks makes their [aluminum plate welded] fuel tanks. [Boston Whaler] was also able to find the model number.

While founded in Florida, Florida Marine Tank is located in North Carolina.

If you live within 500 miles from Henderson,NC it will make sense to order it from FMT. Living farther away will cause the shipping charges to negate any design, cost advantage.

A decent aluminum fabricator can make you a tank without major effort.

I just bought a replacement tank for a 1989 Outrage 20 - from Atlantic Costal Welding. Even with shipping I couldn't get the same tank for the same price from anybody in Seattle, Tacoma, Bellingham, Bremerton. Each has significant boating/shipping industry. I highly recommend them. They had the stock measurements on file.

Moeller 14202 looks like it will fit.

Florida marine tanks wants 3,850 for the 195g tank to my door.
