I need to run a new cable up to the hardtop [on a Boston Whaler 255 CONQUEST boat]. Looks like I need to remove the hard shell roof liner. Any tips on how to achieve this without any damage? Many thanks .

I recommend you contact Boston Whaler customer service for advice on how to access any cable routing paths that extend into the interior of the hard top of your 255 CONQUEST.

A drawing does show some details of the hard top, but I don't see the cable path clearly indicated. Cf.:

It would be typical for Boston Whaler to leave a pull cord in any cable path. Perhaps if you remove the breaker panel overhead in the hard top you will find a pull cord which can be used to pull in more wiring.

Many thanks for your reply. It is inside the cabin I need to remove the headliner as to get access to the hole going through to the tubular up top .

Thanks for clarification that your original description of "the hard shell roof liner" is more clearly understood as "cabin headliner."

Note the parts list shows 26 No. 10 Phillips-head 1.5-inch-long self-tapping screws as CALLOUT 14. Removal of some or all of the 26 screw fasteners will likely be necessary to allow the headliner to be moved out of the way.
