I want to [stow the white all-round navigation lamp and its pole] somewhere on my Boston Whaler SPORT 15. There is no room under seat due to fuel tank. Are there any good spots I may not be thinking of?

I was going to use a Beckson clip. Or buy these nice ones with wood blocks.

Stow the lamp and pole to the cockpit port side inwale, just below the level of the seats, near the transom.

To hold the pole of the white all-round lamp fixture, use these inexpensive rubber mounts.

When I had my 15 I used two stainless spring clip brackets across the seat back. You can see them in this picture.

I used those same rubber clamps Jim mentioned, they work perfect. My intent was to mount the pole between the rail uprights, but I had extended the pole to about four feet which caused storage problems. I finally mounted the pole with four of the rubber clamps under the hinged wood bench I built to hide the gas tanks. This pic is in the early outfitting stages but I put the clamps along the inside rear edge of the box, to the rear of the gas tanks, easily removed even at night. Image

Thanks for the ideas and the link to those clips!

I think I will wait to drill any holes as I may add a backrest which could be a great spot for it.
