CONTINUOUSWAVE

I ordered a replacement strap for my ladder on my whaler, the one that was previously there had a metal snap for one end of the strap that connected to the receiving end on the deck, the other end of the strap had a screw on the strap that screwed into the ladder. The replacement strap whaler sent me has a screw on one end of the strap that attaches to the ladder, but the other end has a 2 piece plastic buckle....I have no idea how to attach that to the deck...any assistance would be appreciated.

Looked for videos on line..none to be had.
